Job Description:

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Senior GCP Engineer with a strong background in database migrations to join our growing team. As a Senior GCP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient GCP-based solutions, with a focus on database migrations.
• Leverage GCP’s Data Migration Service (DMS) and other relevant tools to streamline and optimize migration processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a GCP Engineer with a strong focus on database migrations.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
• Expertise in database migration tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Certifications related to GCP or cloud computing
