Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a strategically important transformation programme for a leading investment banking client. This programme aims to consolidate multiple funds platforms and establish a new operating model and framework for the group. This multi-year initiative will involve managing senior stakeholders and overseeing the rollout of a technology vendor product, ensuring effective coordination across various project streams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the delivery of a multi-year transformation programme, focused on consolidating funds platforms and creating a new operating model.
– Manage Exco stakeholders by delivering clear communication, progress updates, and managing expectations.
– Oversee key project milestones and deliverables across multiple workstreams, including project managers, business analysts, and technical teams.
– Ensure smooth rollout and integration of a technology vendor product, aligning it with the newly developed processes and frameworks.
– Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of the transformation.
– Identify and manage programme risks, resolving challenges, and ensuring the programme remains on track.
– Establish governance frameworks to monitor progress, financials, and key performance indicators.
Key Skills and Experience:
– Proven track record of programme management within investment banking, ideally with exposure to funds platforms** or related financial products.
– Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders, including Exco-level communication and governance.
– Strong experience working with and managing technology vendor products.
– Expertise in leading large, complex transformation initiatives with multiple interdependent streams.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
– Strong understanding of operating model design and transformation frameworks.
– Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams across different geographies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fields; Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP, MSP) are advantageous.
– 7-10 years of experience in programme management within investment banking or financial services.
Location and Working Arrangement:
This role is based in Edinburgh on a hybrid working basis, with a mix of office and remote working.
